Village fete and hidden gardens, Sunday June 7th

Elvington Church Fete will be taking place on the Village Green, on Sunday 7th June, from 1.00pm.

There'll be all the traditional stalls, games and entertainments, including this year a pop-up bar, provided by the Grey Horse.

On Saturday 6th June, there will be a service at the Open Air pulpit on the Village Green, at 4.00pm.  All very welcome.

Also on Sunday 7th June, and back by popular request, the Hidden Gardens event will take place again this year from 11.00am – 4.00pm.

Please consider taking part if you haven’t done so before.  Any garden is welcome – people are interested in every style!

Formal, informal, country, structured, wild (weedy!), natural (more weedy!), free style, cultured, WHATEVER. Large, medium or small.

If you are interested in opening your garden, please register at the Village Store by leaving your name, address and telephone number and we’ll get in touch with full details.

Refreshments will be served all day in the Village Hall.

Proceeds from Hidden Gardens, as in previous years, will be in aid of Save the Children.
