ELVINGTON'S ANNUAL VILLAGE MEETING
TUESDAY 26 APRIL - ELVINGTON VILLAGE HALL - @7.30pm
A chance to hear a review of the year and updates on current issues. The meeting will feature Nathan Culpan as a guest speaker.
Nathan works for the local Drainage Board and will be explaining Elvington's Flood Defence Scheme:
- how it works
- who operates it
- when does it operate
- and why did Main Street flood on Boxing Day!!
So if you have ever wondered what the Scheme is all about - and if you have any questions about it - do come along!
Additionally, our local PCSO, Tony Barge, will be there - and there will be another opportunity to see a demonstration on the use of the defibrillators, recently sited in the village.
It will be a great opportunity to learn what's going on in our village - but most importantly a chance for you to have your say and raise any issues which concern you.
This is a meeting which is always interesting and should only last an hour or so - with tea and biscuits being served afterwards.
