Elvington is gearing up for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

On Thursday, June 2nd at 9.45pm we'll be joining in with lighting a beacon on the village green to mark the start of the celebrations.

On Saturday, June 4th there'll be a Party at the Palace event 6pm - 10pm with a big screen showing the party, and we're aiming to get food vans along. More details to follow.

On Sunday, June 5th, it's the biggie - Elvington Street Party! The road will be closed 10am - 6pm for the event to likely run 12pm - 4pm and you're encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, picnics - we're aiming for stalls, kids rides and more - and we'll probably be asking for gazebos in case the weather isn't kind.
