Vacancy on Parish Council

Following the retirement of Mr Ian Bailey after 16 years of service to the village, there is now a vacancy on the Parish Council.

The Parish Council meets monthly on a Tuesday night in the Village Hall, or via videoconference when we are unable to meet in person.  The Parish Council represents the whole village and as such there is no specification or list of requirement - we welcome applications from anyone who is interested.

If you would be interested in serving as a councillor then please write to the Clerk, Celean Camp, at elvingtonparishclerk@gmail.com.  Please include your relationship with Elvington, why you are interested in being a Councillor and any particular skills or experience you would bring.  Expressions of interest must be received by Friday 8th May 2020.
