Children

We have a popular Brownie pack in the village, as well as Cubs, Scouts and Beavers.

We're also lucky to have a great pre-school and a lovely toddler group that meets two times a week. Elvington Out of School Club operates after school and through holidays.

Elvington Under Fives

Elvington Under Fives is an Ofsted regulated preschool based in the grounds of Elvington C of E School.

Pre-school

The pre-school is for children aged 2 - 5 years. It operates from within the school grounds in purpose designed accommodation. It is fully integrated with the school.
There are six members in the team led by Elaine Scott, and the pre-school is fully Ofsted accredited.
All children from Elvington and surrounding villages are welcome.
Sessions are from 8am 5pm, Monday to Thursday term term only.
We now open for breakfast club 8 - 9a.m.(£3.50) morning session 9 - 11.30a.m. (£8.00) Lunch club 11.30a.m. to 12.30p.m.(£3.00) (packed lunch), afternoon session 12.30 - 3.00p.m. £8.00 and afterschool 3pm to 4 or 5p.m. is £3.50 per hour.
3 & 4 year olds are entitled to six funded sessions per week.

Parents and babies/toddlers group

Meets Wednesday/ Thursday between 9.45am and 11.15am at Elvington village hall - no need to book, just drop in.
Sessions cost £2.50 for parent and child, with additional children an extra 50p. Tea or coffee is provided, with a snack and juice for children.
